This picture is for Kendell.
You were telling me how much you wanted to put up the light's at Little America. This is a quick snapshot from my cell on my way to work this morning.
I had to pull over to get a little wake up juice (diet coke).
Anyway I hope this brings you many fond memories.
Take care, uncle Steve
The Smithson family and Adie had a wonderful time with the Rapier's. We enjoyed Larry and Jenny Lou's hospitality and the opportunity to renew our acquaintances with the Duncan Rapier's.
It is fun to see our children get along so well. I just wish we didn't live so far apart.
Anyway it was an interesting ride home. We ran into snow around Payson and it got worse as we got closer to Flag. I-40 was closed so we went to Jamie and Bob's and hung out. They finally opened it up to local traffic. The officer told us that there were no accidents between Bellemont and Flag. Please keep it that way:)
Anyway thanks again for the wonderful time, Love the Smithson's
Snow in Duncan
When it snows in Duncan my kids put on their coats and go play...they build a snowman, then bring it in the house to dress it up a bit... notice the shorts?
Then the pre-teen says, mom set the timer for 5 minutes, and he goes and runs barefoot in the snow. That lasts 2 minutes.
Younger brother, not to be outdone, also says, Mom set the timer for 5 minutes! BUT he lasts the whole 5. Now his feet need to be amputated, but he will live in footless glory!!! LOL
It looks like we got the most snow since we are up in the high country! LOL Just kidding, the fields below did have snow, but the angle shows the green crop more than the 1/4 inch of snow that we got!

Cool PIc
This is an absolutely great picture of your alpha and omega - it's adorable and sweet. I love it. Thanks for posting it.
I like being a Mom!
Some days it all seems worth the work, worry, and stress. Today was one of those days. Here is a picture of my Alpha and Omega...and the e-mails they exchanged today:Josh, I really want you to come to our house. I just can't wait until you come to our house again. Please will you come when I am 6? Ok? OK, I know that you are going to come when I am 6.
Have a Merry Christmas!!!
Is it really cold there? Do you like the snow? Are you eating it? Are you making snow balls and throwing them? Are you having a good time there?
Benjie and Lorenzo came to my house on Monday to play? We had fun.

10pm and still counting
This our back porch around 10. Not sure on how deep it is now cause I
had no desire to step outside to find out. Will check in the morning.

So with these pictures we want to invite anyone that wishes to come visit us and play in the snow. I can't guarantee a room or bed for everyone but I can for the adults other than that we have lots of floor space. I can't guarantee gourmet food but food to keep you warm. We are just above 8 inches and still counting. We don't have any school tomorrow so we are free. Getting here might be a little treacherous, but once here we could have a great time. Considering that we are suppose to continue to get snow most of the week, if you wish to wait for the weekend then I am sure it will still be here. Welcome one and all to our winter wonderland.
